Fees

Winning Edge Psychology charges below the recommended fee of $241 set out by the APS for psychology services.

Price information for services are provided upon request. Standard services include 50 minutes of face to face time, documented case notes, treatment plan formulation and modifications to the treatment plan as therapy progresses.

 

Those found to be eligible for a Medicare Rebate (Typically $86.15) by their GP may be accommodated with bulk-billed services if they are currently in financial hardship. To find out if you are eligible you will need this discuss this with your GP and ask for a Mental Health Care Plan. For further information about this process please read the document Better Access to Mental Health Care. DVA claimants are also accepted and eligible for a reduced rate.

For example if you are a client being seen in the office with a Mental Health Care Plan and paying the Full Standard Fee, you will receive a $86.15 rebate through Medicare. This means that you will only be out of pocket for the gap amount: Service Fee - $86.15.

In addition, as Winning Edge Psychology caters to mobile services, to be eligible for a medicare rebate whilst attending places other than a consulting room, we must provide treatment in alternative environments as to achieve therapeutic outcomes. For example, if you find it confronting to be in a confined office space, we may be able to provide treatment in an open air setting or If you have a mobility issue we may be able to visit your residential home.

Some of our therapists are SIRA approved providers and can assist with Worker's Compensation claims. Winning Edge Psychology is able to provide psychological services under this funding body.

Winning Edge Psychology is able to provide services to those under the NDIS.

Video Consultations are charged per 50 minute consultation. However this type of service cannot currently be covered under Medicare unless you live in a remote / rural location.

Some services may be covered under Private Health, however this is up to your health fund and you will need to clarify what is covered with them.

Cancellations: Winning Edge Psychology services requires 24 hours notice of a cancellation. If you fail to provide notice you may be charged an amount equal to your consultation. Service may not resume until payment is settled.

Further Fees may be warranted for additional services and travel, parking or venue entry. However these fees will always be discussed and agreed upon before such service commences.
